DescriptionCommencing [p.1] with the heading 'Royal Society Club'. Rough minute-book of attendance and other matters . With lists of members, their dates of admission, and payments, on each of the Club's June anniversary meetings, including ex-officio members and supplemental lists. The main content of the volume is the lists of attendees at dinners (including guests) at each weekly dated meeting, the numbers of attendees totalled on each occasion. The book also contains tavern bills for dining. There are occasional minutes, often noting proposals of candidates; with other matters [p.2, 10 May 1838, 'The Coronation of the Queen being fixed for the 28th June, on which day the Anniversary Meeting of the Club would take place; it was moved...that the Anniversary Meeting of the Club should be holden on the following Thursday...'].
