DescriptionCommencing [pp.4-6] with a list of members in August 1788 with the time of payment of their dues of one guinea and including a list of candidates for election [p.7]. Most of the volume contains attendees at dinners (including 'visitors', e.g. guests) at each weekly dated meeting at the Crown and Anchor Tavern, the numbers totalled. With bills and waiters' fees noted in the earlier entries.
