| Description | Minutes of meetings commencing [p.2] with a printed notice of the Anniversary Dinner of 28 June 1923, with the annual election of Members, before the main minutes commence. The volume continues with annual or anniversary meetings held in June of July of each year, usually prefaced by the printed election sheets for that year. The main business discussed was to note vacancies caused by the deaths or absences of members, proposals and balloting of candidates to become members of the Club, payments of dues, reports and financial accounting by the Treasurer, and other general matters. There are various printed insertions, notably the Club's dining menu cards [from 1928], lists of members, and other items. The first signed table arrangement appears in 1953. |
