DescriptionBoys wishes to present an offering to the Royal Sociey Club and he has seen an Edinburgh-made jug of 1827 at Tessiers Ltd. They would make a rosewood stand for it and it might be inscribed with the Royal Society's arms, if that was permissible. He would present this, filled with champagne, at the first meeting of the Club, and he asks for Hill's opinion on the idea.
