TitleLetter from Harry R [Ralph] Ricardo, 21 Suffolk Street, Pall Mall, London, to E [Edward] John Russell, Rothamsted Experimental Station, Harpenden, Hertfordshire
CreatorRicardo; Sir Harry Ralph (1885-1974); British mechanical engineer
RecipientRussell; Sir (Edward) John (1872-1965); British agricultural scientist
Date20 July 1942
DescriptionThanking Russell for the notes of the minutes [of the Royal Society Club], pointing out the third note, saying it was agreed that the Anniversary Meeting should be held at the offices of the Royal Society. It will be easier if Ricardo completed his Treasurer's duties before handing over to Russell, as Blackman did for him. He encloses a letter from Sir Henry Lyons which he does not think should be included in the Treasurer's report, but might be brought up by Russell on a suitable occasion.
