DescriptionHe has received Jeffreys' note stating that because of non-attendance, he has forfeited his place in the Royal Society Club, but hinting that the Club might waive this if he can write on the circumstances or attend on the 23rd. He hopes to attend in order to appeal on the grounds of good conduct and absence overseas. If sufficient, he would be happy to remain in the Club.
