DescriptionArticle describing gifts form the Prime Minister of India, Mrs Indira Gandhi, in memory of her father Pandit Nehru presented to Trinity College Cambridge on Monday 16 February 1973 to commemorate his undergraduate years at the college.
Gifts were a framed, mounted photograph of Nehru , and a facsimile from his best known book "The Discovery of India" given to the Master of Trinity, Lord Butler, by the Acting Indian High Commissioner in Britain, Maharaj Krishna Rosgotra.
Nehru's landlady from undergraduate days was present at the ceremony at the Masters Lodge.
