Title | Letter from [William George] Armstrong, Cragside, Rothbury, to [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, 66 Victoria [Street], London, S.W |
Creator | Armstrong; William George (1810 - 1900); Baron Armstrong of Cragside; armaments manufacturer and industrialist |
Date | 21 October 1892 |
Description | Informs he must have two new glass cylinders for the secondary coils as well as for the primaries, providing dimensions of the secondary cylinders. Requests Swinton to order these in addition to the other two. Supposes that the way to get more volume in the secondary current is either to lay on the course in doable strands or to use thicker wire. If the latter, he shall want a supply of thicker wire covered like the other. Seeks Swinton's opinion. |
