TitleLetter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to [Frederick George] Creed, [Esquire]
CreatorSwinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer
Date23 October 1920
DescriptionComplains of his failed attempts to expedite receiving a reply from the Post Office. Enquires whether, in the meantime, Creed could send one of his special relays so he could test it in conjunction with his amplifier. Discusses a new C. W. news transmission, transmitted each evening, on longish wave, presumed to be hand sent, commeting that Creed will see for himelf by a piece of it that Swinton has taken down on the enclosed tape [enclosure not present]. Enquires if this would work for Creed's printing apparatus, as this would mean not havin to wait for the Post Office permission.
