TitleLetter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Sir Oliver Lodge, F. R. S., Normanton, Lake, Salisbury
CreatorSwinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer
Date24 January 1921
DescriptionResponding to a previous letter, discussing "R" Type Osram triode valves he has, supplied to him by the General Electric Co, owners of the Osram works. Informs he also posseses valves of French make obtained through Mr W. H. R. Tingey, of 92 Hatton Garden and states that Messrs A. C. Cossor, Ltd., and Ediswan Co. Ltd. also make good valves. Comments he knows little of the Economic Co, of Twickenham, highlighting that they are dealers rather than makers. Happy to allow Lodge's assistant to see his wireless contraptions but as they are his house in Chester Square, he will be required to make an appointment.
