Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to H. C. Siddeley, [Esquire]. |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 25 October 1929 |
Description | Informs he duly brought the matter of Mr Lewitzki's wireless invention before the Committee of Atmospherics of the Radio Research Board, and asked them whether they or any of the Government departments would be prepared to test the invention, if a set were submitted to them for the purpose. Discusses Major Lefroy's wilingness to test it and his memorandum on the subject. Regretful that Lewitzki's apparatus is not original enough to warrant the Army experimental wireless establishment asking him to come over to England to demonstrate it. |
