Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to H. H. T. Burbury [Esquire] |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 7 February 1921 |
Description | Informs he listened to the previous nights' transmission but was unable to get anything he could certainly ascribe to Burbury. Alludes to the possibility that his resistance amplifier is unsuitable for the purpose and explains he will rig up a medium-wave high frequency transformer amplifier with which he hopes to get better results. His present amplifier does fairly well for short wave spark stations, and very well for long wave stations, both spark and C. W. |
