Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to H. H. T. Burbury [Esquire] |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 23 March 1921 |
Description | Apologises for a delayed response. Informs that since getting it, he has rigged up an amplifier with transformers wound, both primary and secondary in accordance with Burbury's suggestion. Discusses the arrangement in detail. Proposes to make two more sets, one for the waves of intermediate length and another for waves of greater length. Wishes to hear how Burbury got on with those he was making for very long waves and whether he finds that it is best to wind the primary and secondary in the same groove, and how many turns it to get the best results. |
