TitleLetter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to C. J. Leyland
CreatorSwinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer
Date12 May 1921
DescriptionInforms of a discussion he had with Prest on the desirability of getting a goo portrait painted of [Charles Algernon] Parsons. Their idea was that Parsons Marine Steam Turbine Co might pay for a presentation portrait to be given to Lady Parsons, with a replica for the Company's own Board Room, whilst prints could be distributed to all the Licensees. Keen to organise a Board meeting to discuss the matter, if Leyland agrees.
