Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to H. H. T. Burbury [Esquire] |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 30 May 1921 |
Description | Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter, confirming details of the amplifier he proposes to show. Doubts being able to do much with Burbury's transmission on such an aerial as is possible to put up at the Society of Artsm owing to the enormous number of other wires on the roof of their building. Assumes Burbury will send 1700 metre wave length as mentioned in a previous letter, when he said he will be applying to the Post Office for that length as his 3000 metres was too long for his aerial. Requests that Burbury sends something easily recognisable so he can confirm it is indeed him. |
