Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Sir Ernest Roney |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 8 June 1921 |
Description | Responding to a previous letter, stating he knows nothing about W. H. Dorman & Co. Ltd., except that he has seen their exhibits at exhibitions. Supposes they are speculative people, amd as it appeared to him, their hydraulic drilling apparatus on the constantesco principle seemed to be of a nature that would knock itself to pieces in pactice. As he has not actually made any real study of any of thir manufacture, he cannot offer an opinion. |
