TitleLetter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Sir Oliver [Lodge]
CreatorSwinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer
Date8 July 1921
DescriptionAcknowledges receipt of a previous letter. Encloses a copy of his paper, stating he has sent it to the Recorder of Section A. Informs he has added some estimates of the comparative strength of the signals, under different conditions, and has also described some new experiments, with a metallic band or cylinder wrapped round the frames. With regard to publishing the paper in accordance to Lodge's suggestion, after it has been read at the B. A., it might be more suitable for the Philosophical Magazine rather than Nature. Hopes Lodge can arrange for it, being one of the editors of the Philosophical Magazine.
