TitleLetter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Stuart De la Rue [Esquire]
CreatorSwinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer
Date11 July 1921
DescriptionInforms that The British Scientific Instrument Research Association, of which Sir Herbert Jackson is Director, and Swinton Chairman of Council, is investigating various insulating materials suitable for electrical instrument manufacture, so as to be in a position to recommend to its members the best materials for different purposes. As it may lead to business for De la Rue, suggests that he sends sample of his Tlenduron, both in the form of insulators and also in other moulded shapes, commenting that most of the principle instrument makers in the country belong to the Association and sending samples can act as an advertisement.
