Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Rendell |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 14 March 1927 |
Description | In regard to the electrical light question, he is rather oppressed with the idea that he is not really fit to look after the matter properly, owing to his enduring illness and need to receive regular injections. More or less satisfied that Drake & Gorham would make a good job of what is necessary but questions their prices, discussing these at length and making comparisons with other firms. Advises Rendell to ask Messrs. Highfield and Roger Smith to do whatever is necessary in getting tenders and lookingafter the carrying out of the work. Returns Messrs. Drake & Gorham's report [enclosure not present]. |
