TitleLetter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Mr Taylor
CreatorSwinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer
Date30 March 1927
DescriptionUnderstands that Edmundsons are writing to Mr Taylor tomorrow making a definite offer to take a large interest in the Cambridge Company. Discusses details of the offer and hopes to be able to attend meetings on the matter, provided he is well enough to do so following treatment for his long-term illness. Believes it to be desirable to have the meeting as soon as possible. Requests that Taylor impresses upon the Directors the importance of keeping the offer from Ednumdsons entirely private, as it might upset matters materially if it was to get to the knowledge of certain parties.
