TitleLetter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to The Secretary, Royal Society of Arts
CreatorSwinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer
Date17 March 1928
DescriptionHis attention has been drawn to the Secretary's letter dated 15 March, addressed to certain Members of the Council, and enclosing for the signature of each a draft of a letter intended to be addressed to those Members of Council who wrote to Lord Askwith last January. The draft letter has been sent to come Members of Council who have not seen the letter to Askwith and are not acquainted with the full facts of the matter. The draft therefore gives rise to a partial and misleading impression and requests a copy of the letter sent to Askwith with the name of the signatories; the letter drafted by Sir Thomas Holland.
