DescriptionRefers to the Return for Assessment which has been sent to him, and the accompanying explanatory notes, gathers that with regard to income tax from dividends subjected to British Income Tax before receipt, relief is granted in certain circumstances where the income receivable under this heading in the year 1927-28 represented more than the income which would be attributable to a period of one year if the income were deemed to have accrued from day to day. Requests to be sent information as to the conditions and extent of this relief.
