Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Professor [Thomas] Mather, F. R. S., 51 Wyatt Park Road, Streatham Hill, S. W. 2. |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 29 June 1929 |
Description | Written on Swinton's behalf by his Secretary, A. W. Langley. Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter with many thanks. Informs that Swinton is unwell and confined to bed and whilst he is interested in what Mather said about early Lane-Fox lamps, he is unable to do anything in the matter at present. Relays that Swinton believes that the existence of these early lamps would be of great interest to Mr. Lane Fox Pitt and will therefore forward Mather's letter to Fox Pitt. |
