Amongst scientific material are notebooks of experiments, technical drawings, short subject specific essays, oncluding on the subject of television. Ccurious items of ephemera include Swinton's passport and a wireless message received from General Fustave Auguste Ferrié. Additional records of scientific experimentation are interspersed throughout Swinton's personal diaries. Swinton also held an interest in poetry and some of his own is included in this series of papers.
