DescriptionCollection of photographic glass plate negatives produced by Alan Archibald Campbell Swinton including portraits of himself, family memebers, and friends, as well as images of scientific apparatus, buildings such as Kimmerghame House, artworks, and X-Ray images.
The slides were accompanied by a wooden box lid [boxed separately] inscribed 'A. A. C. S Photographic Plates Glass' featuring a numbered list (1-50) on the inside of the lid, naming individuals in the slides, however, these do not align with the numbering on the slides but likely do identify some of the individuals in the photographs. The names of listed individuals are as follows:
