Enclosed within this letter are three additional letters from Goddard, dated 2 March 1841, 2 March 1864 and 24 March 1864 respectively. The letter dated 2 March 1841 contains two experimental portrait photographs.

Includes one page of diagrams showing a process for preparing the surface of the plates.
