DescriptionThe author discusses his new type of simple and natural geometry reduced to five rules, which he believes improves on the work of Archimedes and Euclid. An ink note verso of final page reads 'Papers under the feigned signature of [Simon] Couder le Pretre concerning a new discovery of a simple and natural geometry.' Emendations appear throughout in ink. Includes five geometric figures in the text.
