Has read of dissensions and hopes they will soon be terminated. Asks for an account of new patent lamps and other news. Discusses attack on Lord R--d's plans for Plymouth and Portsmouth. His youngest daughter is very ill. Gives news of Miss Woolcombe and her elopement. Asks Blagden to insert an epitaph by Geach for "old Sparrell" in the Gentleman's Magazine. |
