TitleLetter from Sir [Alfred] George Greenhill, 1 Staple Inn, to [Arthur] Schuster
Date11 October 1919
DescriptionHe thinks it worth trying Council to support a new version of the Weir diagram. It would replace Maxwell's figure XVIII in a new edition. If the block is to be lent for the purpose, the scale should be reduced slightly, since at present to figure occupies the whole page with no margin. He hopes the proofs are no hung up too long as only slight corrections are required. Council should be asked to scrutinise the diagrams through a magnifying glass.
