DescriptionThis letter states the resolution passed by the Antarctic Finance Committee at its meeting on 21 November 1902. The Council is of the opinion that it is necessary to give the powers proposed in their resolution to the Antarctic Finance Committee.

In a letter from the Secretary of the Treasury it was stated that any available funds can be used for the purchase of a relief ship.
