Description | Gives information about the International Air Congress in London, to be held on 25-30 June 1923. Gives the principal objects of the Congress: to discuss problems surrounding aircraft design, construction and operation, and notes there will be four groups holding sessions: A. Aerodynamics, aeroplane construction, research methods etc. B. Power plants, fuels, lubrication, air screws, etc. C. Air transport and navigation D. Personnel, air tactics and strategy, commercial design, airship design and construction, etc. Also notes that there will be opportunities to visit British aircraft establishments and factories, and there will be a Royal Air Force Pageant on 30 June. Notes the official languages of the Congress will be French and English, and that the General Secretary is Lieutenant Colonel [William] Lockwood Marsh. |
