Description ' The research report of Dr P E Baker, Mackinnon Research Student, for the year to 31 August 1968 was circulated to members of the committee on 17 December 1968.

The stipend of Dr P E Baker, Mackinnon Research Student, was raised to £1960 from 1 October 1968, by Council at its meeting on 17 July 1969, the Chairman of the Physical Sciences Research Committee having approved this increase on behalf of the Committee.

The Physical Sciences Research Committee, consulted by corespondence in July 1969, agreed to recommend to Council that a grant of £151 [from the General Research Fund] be made to Dr P E Baker, Mackinnon Research Student, to enable him to carry out volcanological research in Hawaii and New Zealand in August 1969 on his way to participate in the Cook Bicentenary Expedition.

The research report of Dr P E Baker, Mackinnon Research Student, for the year to 31 August 1969 was circulated to members of the committee on 13 January 1970.

Council at its meeting on 14 October 1971 dissolved the Physical Sciences Research Committee. '
