1. ' Minutes of meeting on 27 May 1953 and ot the opinions obtained by correspondence in November 1954 and May 1955 were confirmed.
2. Mackinnon Research Studentship
Consideration was given to applications received for a Mackinnon Research Studentship (PSR/2(55) and note was taken of opinions expressed by Sir James Chadwick, Professor G M B Dobson, Professor R G W Norrish and Sir William Penney by correspondence. After detailed discussion it was agreed to ask Sir David Brunt and Dr D C Martin to interview Mr C J Waddington and Mr I C Percival and to make a recommendation.
