3. Report of progress, including the explanation by the Editor, Dr Scott for the slow rate at which the work had proceeded.

4. Expert assistance for the Editor - resolved that it be recommended to Council that a part-time adviser be appo9inted to the Editor on matters of astronomy and that provision be made for suitable remuneration.
