DescriptionCommittee appointed after meeting of Council on 16 July 1964 ' had reviewed the organization of its various committeed concerned with expeditions and, in veiw of the number, had decided that the Biological Expeditions Committee be renamed the Expeditions Committee, to advise Council (directly or through the Government Grant Boards, as appropriate, in the circumstances) on proposals for, or applications for financial support to, expeditions, whether biological or otherwise. Its membership had been adjusted accordingly, and, in future, any proposal or appliction relating to an expedition, whether from outside the Society or from within, was to be considerd first by the Expeditions Committee. '
