Describes committe business including letters from the Colonial and Foreign Office; a letter from the Portugese Commisson forwarding a paper 'On the etiology of Sleeping Sickness'; a telegram from Col Sadler on Castellani's discovery; decision to publish Castellani's paper identifying typanosoma as the cause of sleeping sickness; agreement to recommend that Castellani be sent again to Uganda; resolution that the Jenner Institute of Preventive Medicine take over Col Bruce's monkeys, and that Castellani be requested to investigate them; resolution to telegraph Bruce requesting that he obtain statistics on the prevalence of trypanosoma in the population; Dr Christy's explanation of his failure to return at once to England; decision to recommend that the Jenner Institute obtain a supply of Surra-infected monkeys. p35-7.
