Dr Balfour's Report on the Botany of the Island of Rodriguez laid before the Committee.
Report on the Algae aqua dulcis of Kerguen Land accompanied by 13 drawings by Dr Reinsch, presented by Dr Hooker.
Dr Gunther confirmed he had received Reports on all parts of the Collections from Rodriguez which had been deposited in the British Museum, except that on the bones of the Solitaire which are being worked out by Messrs Clark and E Newton.
Proposal ' that Dr Gunther be requested to undertake to edit the Reports of the Naturalists, and to prepare a general Introduction to the work.' accepted, and Dr Gunther further undertook to prepare an estimate of the probable extent of the work, and the number of illustrations required. |
