Minutes of meeting of 11 December 1875 read and confirmed.

Letter from Mr H H Slater read.

Resolved - ' That as this Committee think it expedient that the collections made in Rodriguez should be worked out by experienced specialists who, in making use of Mr Slater's notes will give him due credit for what he has done, they do not think it necessary to trouble him to revise his Report, which, in his letters of June 21 and August 25, 1875, he gave them to understand was final.

Reported by Dr Gunther that he had been assured by Messrs Eaton, Gulliver and Slater that all the zoological collections made at Rodriguez for the Royal Society had been given up by them to the British Museum. '

The President confirmed the botanical collections made by Dr Balfour had been deposited at Kew.

Resolved that the Council be recommended to order payment to Messrs Balfour, Eaton and Gulliver of the balance severaly due to them.
