3. A circular letter which had been circulated was presented by the Chairman [Copy of letter attached to minutes]

4. Request from the Secretary of the Royal Meteorological Society that the investigation of the remarkable sunsets and sunrises should be left by the Krakatoa Committee to them. Approved

5. Reported by Mr Scott that the Meteorological Office would undertake the discussion of barometric records

6. Coloured drawings of the remarkable sunsets and sunrises made by Mr Dyason exhibited, and Society directed to write a letter of thanks to Mr Dyason for the loan
