3. Resolved;
3.1 Professor W G Adams be requested to serve as a member of the Committee
3.2 Mode and extent of publications be left to a sub-committee of Professor W G Adams, Mr Scott and Professor Stokes

4. Letter read from the Kew Observatory dated 31 May 1884 from G M Whipple concerning observations carried out at Kew. Resolved that a grant of £25 be made to the Kew Committee as requested

5. Resolved that the Sub-Committee be authorized to order the printing of the Optional Observations subjec to the approval of the Treasurer

6. Treasurer authorised to pay £32-13-5d to Mr Scott for his Vienna expenses

7. Treasurer authorised to pay £31-17-4 to Captain Dawson, and a further amount of £200
