Answers received in response to enquiries made at several artists 'in pursuance of the resolution of the Committee were laid before the Committee and it was agreed that Mr J H M Furse be invited to furnish a design for the medal in accordance with the terms of his letter, the obverse is to bear a portrait of the founder with his name and the date of his birth and death, the reverse being left to the discretion of the artist.
