DescriptionDescribes the origin and purpose of the committee, and the appointment of the Food Committee to deal with questions of food supply. Notes that the Physiology committee served as a 'meeting ground' for workers across government bodies engaged in work relating to gas defence; the work of the committee in bringing together representatives from the Army and Navy medical departments. Notes that its work at Burlington House has almost ceased, only because 'the committe has become, in a real sense, actually incorporated within the officially-centralised government'. Insert p38.
