1. Read Minute of Council appointing the Committee 2. Read correspondence with Board of Agriculture of 27 June 1916, 21 July 1916 on the appointment of the committee; and letter from the National Association of British and Irish Millers of 5 July 1916 supporting the project by appointing a representative 3. Reported invitation ot the overseas Dominions and to the India Office to co-operate with the investigations favourably received. Agreed steps to be taken to invite further so-operation abroad with the establishment of a corresponding Committee in South Africa, New Zealand, and Russia. Mr Durrant, Mr Fryer and Professor Newstead to draft a form of enquiry to be addressed to those countries, draft to be circulated to the Committee 4. Mr Durrant, Mr Fryer and Professor Newstead to be a sub-Committee to prepare a scheme of preliminar enquiry and report to an early meeting of this Committee. 5. Mr Durrant to enquire about use of the facilitiesat the British Museum (Natural History) for the work of the sub-Committee
