DescriptionLists members present, with Mr Read attending on behalf of the Colonial Office. Gives the Committee actions -- 1. The signing of the previous meeting's minutes. 2. Report from the Treasurer of an arrangement with the Treasury to take expenses occurred by the Society when doing Government work out of the Reserve Fund of the Government Grant for Scientific Investigations. 3. Resolution to have the Council consider the report on trypanosoma from last March. 4. Report from Col Bruce on the Mediterranean Fever sub-committee and his trip to Malta to begin work. 5. Consideration of a letter from Clement L Hill from the Foreign Office and two telegrams on the sleeping sickness investigation -- committee resolved that Capt Greig should return down the Nile to investigate the disease there. 6. Consideration of a letter from Sir Michael Foster -- committee resolved that Col Bruce should see about obtaining the services of a zoologist for Uganda. 7. Report from Col Hayes Sadler, HM Commissioner for the Uganda Protectorate. 8. A letter from the Colonial Office about funding. 9. A grant request in aid of research at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine on the best means of destroying trypanosomes. 10. Proposal for the sub-committee considering Dr Nabarro's report to meet. 11. A report from Dr Christy on the Distribution of Filaria Perstans, referred to Dr Nuttall. 12. Receipt of letters from the Colonial Office and the India Office. p13-18.
