DescriptionLists members present, with Mr Read attending on behalf of the Colonial Office. Lists Committee business -- 1. The signing of the previous meeting's minutes. 2. The progress report on the work done by the Committee, and its despatch to the Colonial Office. 3. A letter from the Colonial Office asking to what purpose the committee intends to put its grant from the Tropical Diseases Research Fund. 4. An amendment to the report of the Sleeping Sickness Sub-Committee. 5. A suggestion from Dr C J Martin that pharmacologist Prof Cushny be placed in charge of an investigation into a drug for treating [sleeping sickness] -- the committee's resolution to apply its grant from the Tropical Diseases Research Fund toward this plan, and to communicate with the Colonial Office about further grants. 6. Resolution to print the reports on investigations 'in the size and style of the new Proceedings'. 7. Agreement to enquire if the Colonial Office would print Dr Mott's histological report and other future reports from the Sleeping Sickness Commission. p54-57.
