Among matters discussed or noted: minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. Report from the committee appointed to consider Mr. Ulrich's application to the Donation Fund, Ulrich had not given details of his proposed model and therefore the committee did not think it necessary to give an opinion: Council referred the matter back to the committee, asking if they would advise giving a grant. Letter from Sir John Barrow, requesting the Admiralty's use of a plate of Professor Barlow's variation chart, granted.
