Application from Mr. Baily on behalf of the Royal Astronomical Society for a copy of Horsley's edition of Newton, granted. Report on a meeting of the Committee to consider Monck Mason's proposals for the use of the Vauxhall Balloon: Mr. Gye, one of the proprietors had attended the meeting, stating that Mr Mason had not the authority to make the offer, but one might be made, if the Royal Society covered the expenses involved; no further action to be taken. |
