Among matters discussed or noted: minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. Mr. Charles Few attended the meeting to give explanations of the state of the Stevenson and Handley bequests, and the Royal Society's property at Acton: Few was requested to ascertain the value of the Handley bequest and to take steps for its security. Adjudication of Royal Society Medals: the various candidates were discussed. Kew Observatory was placed on the list of institutions entitled to receive Philosophical Transactions and Proceedings. |
