Among matters discussed or noted: minutes of the last meeting read and approved. The Secretary read a letter written to Colonel Lindsay stating the reasons for not complying with his request, but if no other suitable place could be found for Mr. Peel's lecture to the Rifle Corps, Council would reconsider: following a reply from Lindsay, saying that the Corps had been granted permission to exercise in the grounds of Burlington House, the Meeting Room request would be granted, but setting no precedent.
