Upton, Apothecaries' Hall, London, 19 June 1862, to the President of the Royal Society, full text entered into the minutes: the Master and Wardens of the Society of Apothecaries had anxiously reconsidered their commitment to relinquish the Botanic Garden at Chelsea; noting something of the garden's history and its role in training medical students; they have now rescinded the resolution relieving themselves of the Chelsea Physic Garden.
